Meet The Timber Tailor
The Timber Tailor is Anthony Ihle, a joiner from Stevenston with ten years on the tools, and the small team he brings in for bigger jobs.

How it started
Anthony set up The Timber Tailor after ten years working in the joinery trade, mostly on kitchens and site work. The idea was simple enough: do the job properly the first time, charge a fair price, and turn up when you said you would. Most of the work now comes from people who have used us before, or who were told about us by someone who has.
We are based in Stevenston and cover Ayrshire, Glasgow, Paisley, Hamilton and most of Central Scotland. The jobs range from a full kitchen refit to a fence flattened by a storm. The small ones get the same care as the big ones, because the small ones are how people decide whether to trust you with the big ones.
You deal with Anthony directly, from the first visit to the last day on site. If what you are asking for is not going to work, or there is a better way to spend the money, you will hear it before we start rather than after.
What we work to
Do it properly
Straight cuts, tight joints, and a finish you will not be looking at in six months wondering why it has moved.
Say it straight
A written quote before we start, and a phone call the moment something changes.
It is your house
We work around you, keep the mess contained, and do not call it finished until you are happy with it.
Turn up
We arrive when we said we would and finish when we said we would. It should not be a selling point in this trade, but it is.
